FDF Maneuvers

Following severe internal clashes on Podagorsk Finnish Defence Forces holds maneuvers for possible deployment to the conflict zone. Media has speculated that the deployment likely takes place “in the near future” and should that occur the FDF troops will operate under the NATO-led coalition with UN mandate.

The latest incarnation of FDFmod will require up to date version of both ARMA 2 and Operation Arrowhead.

Yes, I was thinking that the OA will be necessary. That’s allright. I own it. Ofcourse 🙂

Oh, one more thing! I’ve just spotted one very fun detail from that Leo 2! There is a platoon symbol side of the turret! It bringed back my memories as a tank driver. Is that Bravos spade or Charlies club?

We obviously had to leave plenty of FDF gear to drawing board. But since BIS is actively updating ARMA2 we could do the same thing with FDFmod for ARMA2.

CV9030 among few other things are high on priority list. Most units in the upcoming first release were made with the modern campaign in mind and thus no RK62s and rubber boots at this point :).

Are there gonna be finnish radio voices?
Those finnish lines in Flashpoint´s fdfmod gave such a warm and cosy feeling 🙂

    Gj! Hyvältä näyttää!

Pasi ittkolla tai krkk:lla olis iha kiva nähä heti ekassa julkasussa. (Masi kans) Ainakin näin oman palveluksen loppumisen 2. vuotis muistoksi.

Oho, vähän liian pitkä viesti, Keep up the good work! Arman versiokin oli todella hauska ja monia tunteja tuhlattu sen parissa!

  17. Eramus said on 18 Jan 2011 at 22:06:

Damn! This waiting is so irritating. What’s the situation about maneuvers? Are equipments possibly loaded for logistics and ready for trip towards Podagorsk?

    Best regards!

Officials of the Defence Forces are probably fighting for more funding.

  21. Leopardi said on 6 Mar 2011 at 04:38:

hope this delay means a CV9030.

  22. Kristian said on 7 Mar 2011 at 18:49:

I’m afraid no. I expect the delay being bug sorting, finalizing campaign and MP missions and voice acting and such. 😛

  23. Juhis said on 30 Mar 2011 at 17:53:

Mites noille fdf ukoille saa hiha/rinta arvomerkkejä ja/tai aselajimerkkejä pukuihin. Jaksaako joku vääntää tohon jotain skriptiä kuten oli ofp fdf modiin?

  24. Casey said on 1 May 2011 at 11:24:

I posted earlier saying the AI in the bridge mission was awful, it’s actually not that bad. You just need to talk to the commander guy to trigger something, and then you can rambo the mission. The next mission is fun and I’m really starting to appreciate the mod. I would like to see a bit tighter scripting, and more obvious things, like the briefing location in the first campaign, it took me a while to figure out where that was.
And also in M03, first time I played, the helicopter just fell out of the sky and the first task never triggered as complete, that could maybe be checked up on.
    Again though, marvellous work 🙂

Is there anykind stuff in progress right now, or is this release the last one we get? I would love to see more of your OUTSTANDING work on this Finnish Defence Forces -mod
